We wrote these song in 2009-10. Some of them in a basement in Lyngby and some others in Alex' apartment in Gentofte. Both cities are in Denmark. Our goal was to have fun and create some music. We weren't into perfection or polishing what we wrote. It was all about creativity and imagination and expressing ourselves.
The songs were supposed to be sentimental and dark. Some are with acoustic guitar and some with electric. On one of the songs (To the Moon) our good friend Erik assisted with bass.
We were 17-19 years old when we recorded these songs.

It was always our goal to make an album. And now after we haven't made a new song in nearly five years it is about time we finally do it. Maybe this album is the definite end of Spanking Pikachu. Or a spark of inspiration for new projects or a revival of the band. Who knows.

The cover is a painting by Christian. Made in 2008.
